Gospel artiste Kabelo Eric is set for bigger things in the gospel industry as he recently collaborated with a celebrated South African gospel singer ,Lundi Tymara.

The gospel star told BOPA in an interview on Monday that he collaborated with Lundi and recorded a single collaboration entitled Sefatlhego .

The youthful singer said the recording of the single was done end of August and it was recorded and produced by Thabo Ledewaba at Shacks Studio in SA, Soweto.

He noted that the single is already released and  is doing well in the market as it has already started to play on local radio stations after it was distributed which is a great sign that the single is a hit. He said his fans are in love with the combination , adding he foresees great sales and promotion as the single is playing almost in all South Africa gospel radio stations.

The ambitious and passionate gospel star noted that he also plans to work with great gospel power houses in Africa like Ghananian UK based Sonnie Badu and Ntokozo Mbambo from SA through his international agent Diva Vebrok of Vebtainment Productions.

He said he is always humble and thankful for each and every opportunity he gets as he is also representing the country well and putting it on the map in the international world, adding that his live in concert with Lundi will be held in December as a way of allowing the fans to see and hear the single Sefatlhego well.

He noted that Vebtainment Productions markets and distributes his music and so far he is penetrating the market locally and internationally as his fans are always ready to hear out his new release and he never disappoints them as he also performs live in shows he is invited to perform at both locally and outside the country.

The youthful star said plans for Lundi live in concert featuring Kabelo Eric and Lundi collaboration are at an advanced stage and the event is to be held locally at Mantlwaneng starting at 7pm till late in December 3 this year.

Artistes expected to perform at the live in concert include Keba, Kengaletswe, Molly, Glora Dzwikiti, and David.

The local star will be celebrating 10 years in style as he will be staging a live performance belting out all his greatest hits and also doing the collaboration song with Lundi during Lundi`s show done by E and E Promotions.

The star has so far won awards that include Museke Online Affroteinment Music Award for best religious song with his song A e Phethehe in 2011, Best performing Arts Botswana National Youth Service Awards (2008), Nominations Best male gospel BOMU awards 2007, top outstanding young person’s world awards- Humanitarian leadership 2009.

This year the gospel star was nominated for the KORA awards that were held in Namibia. ENDS
