Mosweu for model event in India

Tshoukula Mosweu (24) will be Botswana’s representattive at the Mrs/Miss Top of the world model 2016 scheduled for India on November 13. The 1.79 metres tall freelance model said in an interview that she was excited to be part of the pageant.
Mosweu, affectionally known as Kemo, said the pageant would help her get more experience and exposure. Her first shot at modelling was at the Gemstones model search auditions in 2012, which landed her in top 10.
She went tried her luck at various auditions, embracing her fears every chance she got.
Furthermore, she said attaining the positive attitude saw her switching from pageant stages to ramp from time to time.
She took part in several contests like Miss GIPS University College, Miss Universe Botswana, Miss Tsabong Show and many other contests at her home village.
Kemo was also part of the local models and designers who performed at the 2015’s edition of the Africa’s finest culture and fashion event in Swakopmond, Namibia.
She has again walked the ramp on local fashion shows namely; The Wedding Expo, Fashion Without Borders, Flash Mob Fashion, President’s Day celebrations as well as Bots50 celebrations.
The young model is also the mastermind behind Miss Little Diamond Botswana and the Miss Phase 4 pageants: the platforms which she said were aimed at recognizing talented and charismatic young girls from a tender age.
She thanked her valuable sponsors Collegium Publishers, Sedibeng Lodge and Salon Labelle Visage for their continued support on her projects.
Growing up as a shy little girl, Kemo said her mother Reginah Mosweu who is a former beauty queen has been her pillar of strength and inspiration.
She also gave gratitude to her mentor Magnolia, a model and pageant director from Namibia, and project partner Eugene Seasole.
Kemo said she counts on experience to give her a career boost, adding that she is working hard to achieve her goal to contribute positively to charity and women empowerment.
“I am trying my best to stay focused, be bold, but most importantly to feel comfortable in my own skin. ” expressed Mosweu.
She said she is confident that I will reach heights that ordinarily could not have been unattainable. ENDS
