Uyapo Khuwa is one of the upcoming comedians whose stage performance is fascinating and humorous.
The 25-year-old got the crowd eating from the palm of his hand over the weekend during the launch of his debut comedy DVD titled Di Yellow Bone Tsa Bosigo.
Koti, as he is affectionately known by his fans did not disappoint as he mesmerised and managed to pull the attention of his crowd throughout the launch.
His astonishing voice was enough to talk directly to the heart and soul of anyone in a hearing range and left the crowd smitten in its powerful wake.
Khuwa’s unique tactics and his ability to create clear imagery that one could easily relate to, kept others totally glued to his performance and others were left in stitches.
The DVD is packed with eight repertoire rib cracking jokes, which are conversational and mostly focused on everyday life challenges. Di Yellow Bone Tsa Bosigo, which also happens to be the title of the DVD, proved to be the smash joke. It is about a man in his tender age that migrated to the city in search of better means of living.
While at the city, he developed a habit of frequenting night clubs and engaged in excessive alcohol intake. One night, under the influence of alcohol, he got involved with a bright coloured woman who he thought was the best in terms of beauty.
The two passed away the night heavily drinking and later went to the man’s house for the night and the man was so carried away that he could not notice that the woman never drank anything instead she kept throwing away her alcohol.
The next morning, the man was woken up by the sun rays strongly piercing through the open windows, his ‘yellow bone’ woman was nowhere to be found and all his valuables gone. ENDS
