Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Ms Botlogile Tshireletso says her ministry has identified and transferred an officer at the level of senior technical assistant (STA) to Molalatau extension area in January 2016.
Answering a question on behalf Minister of Agricultural Development and Food Security during the ongoing Ntlo Ya Dikgosi session, Ms Tshireletso said the officer is still at Bobonong due to accommodation challenges.
She further said the official house for the department of Veterinary Service’s extension officer at Molalatau is currently being occupied by a Tribal Administration officer thus further delaying the transfer.
Ms Tshireletso was responding to a question asked by Kgosi Letso Malema of Bobirwa region who wanted the minister to consider filling the post of veterinary officer in Molalatau which has been vacant since 2009. ENDS
