Ministry fills veterinary officer post

The Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Ms Botlogile Tshireletso has told Ntlo Ya Dikgosi that the post of veterinary officer at Gumare has been filled.
Responding on behalf of the Minister of Agricultural Development and Food Security, she stated that the ministry through the department of veterinary services has elevated Gumare officer to a sub district level and the office is being headed by a veterinary officer and deputised by principal scientific officer.
She noted that support staff and other key extension personnel have already been operating within the area.
Kgosi Tjazako of Ngami had asked an update as to when a post for veterinary officer for Gumare and surrounding areas would be created. ENDS
