A youthful author and motivational speaker, Tumo Kenosi is working round the clock to produce a film talk show before end of the year.

The talk show will focus on different issues affecting the communities on daily basis. The film show comes after the author produced his second book entitled Steps of Life which is a play of young people with a vision to take a step in life by partnering with government and make a positive change amongst the youth.

In an interview, Kenosi said preparations are at an advanced stage, noting that he has already secured a venue, adding that efforts to liaise with a film production crew were also successful.

He said the main objective of the show is to share information, educate and sensitise community especially young people that life is precious despite the situation one finds himself or herself in.

He said during the show, different people who went through difficult times will be invited to share their experiences and how they survived in life after the trauma.

He said topics to be covered will include rape, domestic violence, child abuse, teenage pregnancy where the victims will come forth to share their life experiences.

Kenosi said the show will also look into successful stories be it entrepreneurship, leadership and other thriving projects.

Regarding his second book, he explained that the book is a door to the film talk show, noting that his book carried a strong message which educates young people to live dignified lives.

He said the message which target school going children depicts that life does not revolves around money, relationships and luxury things, but there is a tunnel at the end.

“I wanted the youth to think outside the box, be patient and focus on their studies rather than indulging in things which could ruin their future. I want them to wait for the right time,” he added.

Kenosi explained that he had realised that most young people live a reckless life and act very late, adding that the book carries a motivational message which will guide them to be responsible citizens.

The books also touched national challenges such as HIV/AIDS and the author said the message will encourage people to stand up and learn to take the right steps on time.

He said at times people respond late to test and do check-ups.

“I believe the readers will understand that prevention is better than cure, hence the need to act before it is too late,” he said.

He said if people could read and understand the contents of the book, they will realise that it will make a positive impact on the lives of many youths. The book will be launched end of November in Maun.

Meanwhile, Kenosi recently launched his first Setswana novel dubbed Monate Ga O Fele, which encourage young people to explore their talents and follow their dreams until they realise them. The printing of the book was funded by the then  Ministry of Youth, Sport and Culture to the tune of P20 000.

But the second book is self-sponsored. ENDS
