A 25-year-old Bobonong born upcoming music producer Victor Keotshotse who is popularly known as Modo wa Senganga in music industry is following his passion of becoming a legendary music producer by opening a music recording studio at Mabumahibidu ward in Bobonong.

Keotshotse said in an interview that he opened his music recording studio named VGK Recording Studios in 2014 with his own funds and it was registered and given an operating licence in February 2015 to operate legally.

“My aim of opening a music recording studio in Bobonong is to cater for a lot of talented music artistes which already showed that they originate from Bobirwa,” he says.

His studio is recording all music genres and he has already recorded for groups whose music is regularly playing in local radios.

Keotshotse who is armed with Associate Degree in Sound Technology from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology says Katara tsa Moya, Mash Gurls, Schooza, Barutwana ba ga Christ and The Gift Sign are the music groups that he recorded and managed to penetrate the local music industry.

 “After producing music that managed to play in the radio this gave me confidence that I am on the right path and since that time that is when I realised that I can be a prominent music producer in this country if I can continue working hard,” he said.

Keotshotse regards himself as a different music producer as after making beats, he often  listens to them several times and if they contain new unique sound to his ears, that is when he knows that he has won his task.

This youthful music producer says he was inspired by local music producers like Victor Kgaswane of Tourch Records, Dr Tawanda of Mega Base Records and Robert Dagirira of Dargie Digital Studios who played important role in the growth of local music industry.

“I appeal to music artistes to choose reputable recording studios to record their music to prevent them from being cheated by fly by night unprofessional music recording studios that produce poor quality music,” says Keotshole. ENDS
