Khama off to Lesotho

President Lt Gen. Dr Seretse Khama Ian Khama today (October 4) travels to Maseru, Lesotho to attend the country’s 50th independence anniversary celebrations.
Lesotho gained independence from Britain on October 4, 1966.
President Khama will be accompanied by the Minister of International Affairs and Cooperation, Dr Pelonomi Venson-Moitoi, the Minister of Youth Empowerment, Sport and Culture Development, Mr Thapelo Olopeng, Gaborone mayor, Mr Kagiso Thutlwe as well as other senior government officials.
The President and his entourage will return thome later today (October 4). ENDS
