Two men lost their lives in a road accident near Mogorosi on Independence Day.
In an interview, Serowe station commander, Superintendent Molefhe Molefhe said the accident involved a Corolla that was heading to Thabala from Mogorosi.
Superintendent Molefhe said the driver and another male passenger were certified dead at Sekgoma Memorial Hospital.
He said both hailed from Serowe and their ages ranged between 40 and 57 years.
Superintendent Molefhe stated that other three occupants were still nursing minor injuries.
Station commander said they suspected that the driver lost control before the car crashed into a culvert and overturned.
Nonetheless, Superintendent Molefhe acknowledged the good conduct of Batswana during golden jubilee independence celebrations in Serowe region.
“So far no serious crimes were experienced, we only experienced minor crimes like drinking alcohol in undesignated areas,” he stated.
He said the public should continue with that good conduct and cooperate with police officers. ENDS
