Roving torch journey ends

After traversing the length and breath of the country, the roving torch ended its journey in Gaborone on September 30. The Minister for Youth Sport and Culture, whose ministry coordinated the independence celebrations, together with Miss Botswana Thata Kenosi handed the torch to President Lt Gen. Dr Seretse Khama Ian Khama during the national celebrations held at the National Stadium. ENDS
