The Gaborone edition of the Orange Togetherness Celebrations music show is billed for September 28 at the Stanbic Bank Piazza.

A press release from Orange Botswana says the show will be headlined by Babes Wodumo of the Wololo fame, who is the current ‘IT’ girl in the South African music industry.
Signed under Durban’s Afrotainment record label, her song Wololo is currently ruling the airwaves not only in South Africa but also in Botswana.

Also billed to thrill the crowd on the night are renowned Dramaboi, T.H.A.B.O, Mapetla, BK Proctor, BanT, SCAR, Amantle Brown, DJ Kuchi, DJ Gouveia and Mr O among others.

The release also states that over the past few months, prior to the Gaborone show, the popular nationwide Orange Togetherness Celebrations music tour has partied with Batswana in areas such as Maun, Palapye, Tsabong and most recently Jwaneng.

It also says the Orange Togetherness Celebrations music tour is one of the key initiatives that Orange is embarking on to nurture local music talent, as well as to celebrate Botswana’s 50th independence while the Gaborone show is the perfect way to kick-start the independence celebrations.

Furthermore, the release says Orange Botswana has put in over P1 million into the success of the countrywide music tour which will travel around the country to Palapye, Orapa and hold the grand finale in December in Tonota. Ends
