The long awaited Pilane mall will be opened tomorrow.
 Speaking during the opening of the Kgatleng District Full Council meeting, council chairperson Mr Mpho Morolong said the mall has 28 outlets and among them are prominent investors such as First National Bank, Choppies Supermarket, Cashbuild, Puma petrol station, Barclays bank branch, Knock-out Cash Carry, Ok Furniture and cell phones service providers.
He said the mall was supposed to be opened in August 2016 and unfortunately the Ministry of Investment Trade and Industry did not license them.
Mr Morolong said he was happy that at last the mall would be opened and the locals would benefit through employment especially the youth.
He said youth unemployment was a serious problem, adding that as much as they expected government to create jobs they also needed to contribute as well.
“To that end we have through projects that we implement managed to create opportunities for the youth, women and other vulnerable groups”. ENDS
