Tshwaragano raises funds for annivesary

Maun Administration Authoity (MAA) chairperson Mr Gaokgakala Letswee said local government is dedicated to support all schools in their jurisdiction to attain quality education.
Mr Letswee was speaking during a fundraising dinner for Tshwaragano Junior Secondary school recently at Maun Lodge.
The dinner raises funds for the schools’ 30 years anniversary coupled with prize giving ceremony. Mr Letswee noted that it was worthwhile for the school’s 30 years anniversary to coincide with the country’s 50 years jubilee. He also pledged to contribute P500 towards the fundraising.
Tshwaragano CJSS head teacher Ms Lynette Setumo appreciated their partners’ contribution especially Sanctuary Retreat Company and other stakeholders for continued support.
Ms Setumo said Sanctuary Retreat Company had even supported them on their sponsored walk which was held last month for the same reason as the dinner.
She noted that the 30th anniversary celebrations will embrace the prize giving ceremony therefore celebrate the school’s existence and motivate good performance in the school.
For his part, the Prize Giving chairperson Mr Mutumba Boitshepo said the 30th anniversary will be commemorated under the theme , Academic excellence, A product of efficiency partnership.
Mr Boitshepo stated that the school has not been doing well recently and assumed that their support would go a long way in motivating the students to strive hard academically. ENDS
