Sankoyo Bush Bucks hires head coach

Sankoyo Bush Bucks Football Club’s have engaged former Gaborone United head coach, Drago Stanalojvic who has started preparing the team for the new league season which begins on October.
For the past season, the team had been struggling to find a head coach since parting ways with its erstwhile coach, Philani Mabhena.
The team manager, Onalenna Ditlhakanyane confirmed in an interview that Drago had joined the team although the deal was not yet sealed.
Ditlhakanyane said the new coach had been introduced to the boys and that he had started training with them beginning August.
“If our talks could go well, Drago will be the head coach assisted by Tiiso Gadimang who has displayed good performance; I believe he will work well with the coach,” he said. Regarding their preparation for the coming season, the team manager said the boys were ready to fight this time around.
“We have assembled a very strong team and I can assure you that teams will be in trouble this season as they will face a transformed Ngurungu; we have reruited a number of new players to beef up the squad,” he boasted.
Ditlhakanyane revealed that their former middle fielder, Wabuya Aebee, had returned to the club from Orapa United and that the team had also signed Thobo Motheng from the same team. Other new faces include Odirile Kgaodi from Lobatse giants, Extension Gunners, and Andrew Shadrack from Gaborone United; the two players were swapped with Wadza Seleka and Refilwe ‘Talk Talk’ Senyame respectively.
Ngurungu have also recruited two players from Maun Tigers in Tapiwa Sepatela and Mphoyamodimo Keipone; their former defender, Modiredi Matengu, who is on loan from Township Rollers.
Former under-23 Zebras player Ogomoditse Bauleni, who is currently at TAFIC, is reported to be joining the team too.
Ditlhakanyane expressed happiness that their goal keeper, Kabelo Koti, who was part of the first Ngurungu to join the elite league, was back from school to replace the released the previous goal keeper.
He said two Zimbabwean players, a striker and a middle fielder, were also expected to join the club soon pending the finalisation of paper works.
He pointed out that they were still in the hunt for another striker and another goal keeper, adding that they were on the verge to sign two defenders; one from Satmos and another from the Serowe based Miscellaneous Football Club.
However, Ngurungu has lost two players in Ocean Mpofu, who joined Gilport Lions as a free agent, and Mmoloki Kafuku, who is training with first division team, Sowa Flamingo. ENDS
