Kanye Administrative Authority (KAA) Sub-council chairperson Mr Tlhomamo Dibeela has urged the district councillors to live up to public values of integrity, Botho and service excellence.

Councillor Dibeela said this when officially opening KAA sub council session on August 22. 

In his welcome speech Mr Dibeela urged them to work together in making the public service even more caring, more coordinated and more connected.

He said the session is an opportune time to reflect on their achievements from the last session, as well as how best they could address the persisting developmental challenges faced by the sub-district.

Councillor Dibeela added that the country “and indeed the sub-district is confronted with a number of problems that needed innovative and critical thinkers.”  

Mr Dibeela urged all   councillors to contribute in building the KAA Sub-council so that they could  be proud, as they progress towards celebrating BOT50.

He also reminded councillors that schedules for upcoming events be announced well on time as it is imperative that every individual, family, community, organizations and institutions put Botswana first in everything they did. Ends
