Desert n Delta Safari donates

Desert ‘n Delta Safaris has been commended for donating full school uniforms and stationery worth P20 000 to the under privileged students of Tsodilo Junior Secondary school in Maun.

The company also sponsored top 10 achievers for a full paid two night adventure at Leroo la Tau lodge this year.

Councilor for Boseja North, Mr Keebonye Mphoyamodimo said Desert ‘n Delta Safaris was driving one of the country’s vision pillars of an educated and informed nation.

He thanked the company for partnering with Tsodilo JSS for a three-year period, adding that such a partnership should be formalised into an adopt a school initiative.

Tsodilo JSS school head, Mr Kandee Kandapeara said the school faces challenges regarding students and thanked the company for its generosity, adding that ‘it is not everyone who can demonstrate the kindness that Desert ‘n Delta Safaris has shown us over the past 3 year”.

Mr Kandapaera thanked the company for seeing it fit to help the students so that they would enjoy coming to school like any other privileged students.

For his part, the general manager for Desert ‘n Delta Safaris, Bruce Petty said seeing the state of some students everyday inspired them to develop and empower the young minds.

Mr Petty said the donation geared towards encouraging and nurturing the future young minds. He explained that they have developed a scholarship for tertiary education in courses like hospitality, travel and tourism and others which allow the young people to persuade such courses. Ends
