Vusi Mtokufa, one of Botswana’s renowned gospel star, recently launched his latest CD and DVD dubbed, Vusi Volume 1, in wholesome praise and pure worship.

Vusi, who began his music 11 years ago at Francistown, did not just sing, but sang with grace and power in the presence of God to capture and captivate his revellers, keeping them on their   toes, bringing gospel lovers close to the most high, a testament of his aims in promising desire to change  people’s lives.

The legendary musician, preacher, who stood the test of time, has not only grown with age, but with faith, grace and humility, began his performance with a song  O inxwele, a xhosa word which speaks of the holiness of the Lord Jesus Christ.

He then sang the song which brought him to stardom, the song which was a curtain raiser to his music career, as it received much audience,  Sa rialo sone sefofu,  a song derived from a testimony in the book of Luke in the Bible in which Jesus healed a blind beggar.

Vusi took his followers to most of his songs of praise and worship from back in the days as he sang them on improved modernised and exhilarating beats with passion and desire.

He also made time to introduce and acknowledge the people behind his brand who have made him and continued to support him in his career, as he introduced his mother, and also the man behind his brand, Joe Manuel, the director of Brave Heart, which is an events management company, as Vusi is signed with the company.

“I know I have never told this, but I want you to understand that ever since I have worked with Brave Heart, I feel home, there are more companies which do not make artistes to feel part of them, but with Brave Heart, I am home. You are my father, brother, mentor and guardian. Thank you for everything,” he said to Manuel.

The CD and DVD were not available for sale but promised would be available in stores for sale soon.

Meanwhile, Vusi was announced as the face of Huawei, as he was given gadgets worth P10 000 as complementary for being the brand ambassador for the international company. Ends
