Mascom Live Sessions brings back Ringo
02 Aug 2016
Having hosted the first Mascom Live Sessions of the year on April 29, Botswanacraft will on August 26 host another segment of their famous event with South African heavyweight, Ringo Madlingozi and Botswana’s very own Amantle Brown slated to perform.
Organiser of the Mascom Live Sessions, Oliver Groth, said revellers should brace themselves for another thrilling night.
Ringo is no stranger to Botswanacraft as he has performed there countless times and has always enjoyed massive following in the country.
Oliver said tickets go for P200 each and are already on sale at Botswanacraft.
“I wish to thank our sponsors and partners, The Voice, Savanna Dry, Duma FM, Travelodge, the Gazette, MI5 and Mascom Wireless for having been with us so far,” he said.
For her part, young Amantle Brown said people should look forward to a diversified set.
“The norm is that I should stand before a mic and sing my lungs out, but this time around I want to add a bit of dance to my set and do something different that people would love,” she said.
She indicated that she started her professional singing career in 2015 when she released a single titled Moratiwa and then later on in the year another one titled Mahitshwana.
“This year, I released another single Black Mampatile and it has received over 20 000 likes on Facebook so far,” she said, adding that the song would be on her upcoming album with copies set to be available next week.
She noted that her album would be titled Swa Pelo and with her appearing at the Mascom Live Sessions for the first time, the young songstress believes in her talent.
“But, it would not be the first time for me to perform at Botswanacraft, having performed at Samantha Mogwe’s album launch before,” she said. ENDS
