Police escape helicopter crash

Six police officers survived a helicopter crash in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve (CKGR) on Saturday evening.
A press release from Botswana Police Service’s public relations officer, Assistant Commissioner Witness Bosija, states that the police helicopter crash landed in CKGR leaving officers with injuries.
It was on an anti-poaching operation with six officers on board including the pilots.
The officers, who escaped with injuries, were taken in for medical attention.
Investigations to establish cause of the accident are ongoing. ENDS
