Sixteen contestants will battle it out for Mmamongwato beauty pageant title tomorrow night (July 30).

Mmamongwato Beauty pageant organised by Kings Multi media will be held at Lady Khama Hall in Serowe under the theme, ‘Defining and accepting varies in the beauty of women - The corner stone of 50 years and beyond.’

The coordinator of the pageant, Abang Maruping told BOPA that the pageant intends to promote culture, unity, stability, tourism as well as the proudness on Bangwato.

Maruping explained that the queen would tour historical sites, go around schools spreading the gospel of culture to pupils and would also attend community events in the central region.

As such, he said the community would know their culture, their origins and tourism historical sites, through the Mmamongwato queen.
He said Ranny G, Ramonyaku and Dj king among others would be featured on the night. Ends
