Miss 2010 Millennium, Ms Theresa Hirschfelt and Japanese students have donated clothes, grocery and sweets to Ms Kealebale Satlhaga and her 24 grandchildren at Moshaneg on July 25.

The Japanese students pay a visit to Maru-a-Pula English Medium School in Gaborone annually. They decided to donate to disadvantaged people in Botswana during their visit.

Handing over the donation to Ms Satlhaga, Ms Hirschfelt said every year she donates food to the disadvantaged family. She said the family was hurting her because they were staying in one congested room and that

Ms Satlhaga’s daughters keep on giving birth to babies without their fathers.

The Japanese students failed to hold back their tears when they saw the disadvantaged children and their grandmother. The visit by the donors concided with the death of one of Ms Satlhaga’s daughters the previous night.

Ms Satlhaga was happy and also requested blankets from the donors. The house they are housed in was built by Barclays Bank Botswana. Ends
