Mahindra Botswana has scooped Silver Dealer Award at Mahindra Africa Awards, coming second against other dealers in Africa. 

In an interview, dealership manager for Mahindra Botswana, Mr Zyaad Haffejjee said they unveiled their latest additions of the Mahindra Genio and the Mahindra XUV 500 to the Mahindra family immediately after the release of the awards and described XUV500 as a state of the art SUV with feline features.

He said XUV 500 was the best SUV to come out of Mahindra to date, stating that the design was unmistakable with bold, glorious lines that traced the world’s most agile animal in action: the Cheetah and it had muscular wheel arches that accentuated its impressive, broad stance and the distinct, paw styled door handles.

Talking about the Genio, Mr Haffejjee said it was the perfect bakkie to run both business and personal errands with and was designed to make life easier for its owners. He said customers would love the model primarily because of its fuel efficiency and its 1260 kilograms carrying capacity.

 He said Mahindra Botswana was under the Mahindra Africa portfolio of the Mahindra group, which is one of India’s leading business houses. ENDS
