Ramotswa police are investigating a case in which a 17 year old Kagiso Senior Secondary School female student was murdered and dumped near CB stores in Ramotswa.

Ramotswa police Station Commander, Superintendent Mothusi Phadi in an interview said they received a tip off on Sunday morning at 420 am of the dumped body.

He said the body was taken to the hospital where it was later confirmed that the person was already dead.He said the police initial investigations showed that the girl had three cuts on the head which they suspect could have led to her death. 

In addition, investigations showed that the deceased sneaked out from home and went to a friend’s house whey they later went to one of the local bars.

After the bars closed, they went to Zone Club in Taung where the two girls were separated and the police are yet to trace unknown person who left with the deceased.

Ramotswa police are appealing to the public to come forth with any information concerning the murder case.ENDS
