Grand Palm donates to Gamodubo childcare

The Grand Palm hotel casino conversion resort donated P10 000 to Gamodubu Childcare Trust recently.
Speaking during the cheque handover the sales and marketing director of the Grand Palm, Thapelo Modise said the money was raised through a wedding exposition in April.
“The children in the Gamodubu childcare are very disadvantaged and don’t have a lot of necessities hence it is the best choice donating to them to improve their lives,” she said.
The operations manager Mr Shaun Bird noted that children deserved all the love in the world for them to prosper in every aspect.
He said that having spent time with them inspired him to invest more on the community.
The Trust founder Ms Shirley Modikwa appreciated the contribution saying that it would make a great change in the lives of the orphans and vulnerable children and youth in the Gamodubu village. The non- profit organisation currently has 235 registered target group from six villages of Gamodubu, Mmagwana, Mmanoko, Mmamhiko, Mmakanke, Ngopeletlagaadi.
The Trust provides services such as moral education, remedial lessons, counselling sessions, business skills and health reproductive services. ENDS
