Molefhi commends company for good gesture

The Minister of Infrastructure Science and Technology, Mr Nonofo Molefhi, has commended the Magic Web Company for their contribution in the transformation of the education system.
Mr Molefhi was speaking during handing over ceremony of 60 computers worth P120 000 by Magic Web Company at Satellite Primary School recently.
He acknowledged the gesture of good will extended to Satellite Primary school.
Mr Molefhi said Magic Web, last year donated the information communication technology equipment to Mosela wa Pula Junior Secondary School, and this year once again found it appropriate to donate equipment of technology to Satellite.
He said receiving the gift a day after June 16 commemoration marked the footprints of which the coming generation would fall upon and make it while the sun shines.
Mr Molefhi said this was an opportunity given for the school to get prepared for the life preparations for the investments, adding that today’s education gave teachers an opportunity to research beyond what the textbook offered and explore new knowledge.
He encouraged students to work hard and make use of the computers to upgrade their academic results and go an extra mile.
Web Magic chief executive officer, Mr Raymond Burners, said it was their duty to provide business and also to support the education systems by investing in future generation.
He said they were looking forward to work with government.
In his welcoming remarks, director regional operations-North East, Mr Galesengwe Mohube, said the school had a full history of success with an enrolment of 756 students, 23 teachers, six support staff and nine Tirelo Setshaba participants.
Mr Mohube said the school was open for partnership and encourage parents to give students to teachers noting that he was aware that providing education was not an easy task but earlier the school had success due to the hard work provided by both. ENDS
