Accident claims six lives

A road accident involving a double-decker bus and a Toyota Fortuner claimed six lives today (June 9).
The accident occurred along the A1 road near Ditladi lands between Mosaditshwene and Artesia around 11 am.
A press release from Botswana Police Service states that the injured from both vehicles were rushed to Deborah Retief Hospital in Mochudi and Gaborone hospitals with serious injuries.
According to the release, preliminary investigations indicate that the Toyota Fortuner was travelling towards Francistown direction whilst the bus was headed to Gaborone.
Police investigations to establish the cause of the accident and the number of passengers involved are still underway. ENDS
