The Assistant Minister of Health, Dr Alfred Madigele, is in South Africa to attend the Africa Health exhibition from on June 9-10.

A press release from the Ministry of Health says Africa Health is the continent's largest healthcare exhibition and a leading platform for the industry to meet, learn and do business.

“It attracts more than seven thousands healthcare professionals and host over five hundred of the world's leading healthcare suppliers, manufacturers and service providers,” says the release.

It says this conference is critical as it brings health experts under one roof to exchange ideas and devise solutions for healthcare problems that continue to plague the African continent.

The release states that the minister is accompanied by senior government officials and is expected back home on the 12th of June 2016. ENDS
