Student found dead

Police in Mochudi are investigating an incident in which an 18-year-old boy of Molefi Senior Secondary School was found dead at Phaphane Hill.
According to Superintendent Olebile Sitale of Mochudi Police Station, the boy was reported missing on June 3 by his parents. He said on the same day they received a report that he was seen at Phaphane Hill with some injuries.
The police officer said his parents were notified and he was rushed to Deborah Retief Memorial Hospital where he was certified dead.
Superintendent Sitale said although the cause of death was still not known, “he was found with blisters and we suspect that his death was caused by fire.”
He said investigations are still ongoing to ascertain whether he was burnt before or after death. ENDS
