PPADB partners with BotswanaPost

19 May 2013

The Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board (PPADB) has partnered with BotswanaPost to provide payment services to contractors.

In an interview, PPADB public relations and education manager, Ms Ditapole Chibua-Tsheboeng said through the partnership, payment service for online registration would be done at various post offices.

Ms Chibua-Tsheboeng said they were also improving service delivery as contractors would no longer have to travel long distances to PPADB offices. She noted that payments started last Wednesday at post offices in Gaborone, Mochudi, Molepolole, Ramotswa, Thamaga, Tlokweng and Bokaa.

She said payment service for online contractor registration by BotswanaPost would be extended to cover other post offices throughout the country by the end of this month.

Meanwhile, online contractor registration module was launched on March 27 this year with the added benefit of reducing contractors’ travelling expenses and improving overall efficiency in the registration process.

Contractors have been urged to take advantage of online registration from their offices, homes and internet cafes in order to avoid congestion at PPADB offices. ENDS
