Ralotsia in France

The Minister of Agriculture, Mr Patrick Ralotsia left for Paris, France on Friday for the 84th General Session of The World Assembly of Delegates of the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE).
A press release from the ministry of agriculture states that Botswana delegates will be amongst the 180 OIE member countries attending this meeting scheduled for May 22- 28.
It notes that the minister was invited by the President of the OIE, Dr Botlhe Modisane to the session where he is expected to be the guest of honour at the inaugural ceremony to be held on May 22.
The statements says while in France, the minister will visit Merebel, a company manufacturing Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) vaccine which is a partner to Botswana Vaccine Institute (BVI).
It notes that he will be accompanied by the Member of Parliament for Ngami, Mr Thato Kwerepe and the ministry’s deputy permanent secretary for technical services, Dr Kekgonne Baipoledi and are expected back home tomorrow. ENDS
