ViB music Sasa Klaas go separate ways

Regarded as the first lady of Botswana hip-hop, Sarona Motlhagodi a.k.a Sasa Klaas has parted ways with Virgin Brew Music (ViB) after signing with them in 2014 from Hadsan Group Management Company.

“The decision was not taken lightly, and after much deliberation, both parties agree it is in their best interest to part ways,” reads a statement from ViB Music dated May 16.

The stable adds that it has had a great run with Sasa and wishes her all the best with her career.

ViB Music says it is positive that she will continue to be a formidable force in the music industry and go on to inspire other young Batswana to follow their passion.

The company encourages Batswana to pursue their talents and continue making quality music,.

“ViB Music remains committed to cultivating young talent as was the case with Sasa Klaas and we will continue to play our part in promoting the advancement of artists and developing the industry as a whole,” it concludes.

BOPA tried on several occasions to get hold of Sasa Klaas to hear her side of the story but her mobile phone rang unanswered. She had not returned BOPA’s calls at the time of going to press. ENDS
