In a quest to transform lives, female DJ Ndaboka Bengani also known as Laninah Benz will host a motivational talk for young aspiring women on May 28 at Somarela Tikologo Eco Park in Gaborone.

Laninah Benz, 23-year-old who is doing her final year at the University of Botswana said she had been for a long time feeling the need to help young women out there with goals but no motivation.

She explained in interview recently that she fully understood how much of a challenge it was to put one’s goals and dreams into actions  and that was why she decided to host an event of this nature. 

“Being a quite good motivational speaker myself I decided why not put the little that I have to good use and do something that will benefit not only my growth but other aspiring women out there,”said Laninah.

Laninah reiterated that she specifically chose young ladies because she was a firm believer in women empowerment and believed that women could  achieve a whole lot when they supported and stood by each other. 

“The event will also be a networking platform, I have invited a few influential people in the country to come and mingle with the attendants,” she said.

She further said that she believed the seminar would be a huge success as it had already attracted women from South Africa and Zimbabwe who wished to attend. 

Laninah disclosed that entrance to the seminar would be free but seats were limited as the event was self-sponsored and she was starting small until she could find sponsors as she wanted it to be a regular event.
