Keeep fit through exercise - Tlhasana

Batswana have been requested to keep fit through exercise.
Speaking during a health and wellness meeting recently, a representative from the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture, Mr Thobo Tlhasana, said an active lifestyle should be a way of life for everyone.
He said exercise should not be a temporary thing or used solely to lose weight.
He said people should get into the habit of exercising daily in order to experience the benefits of being mentally and physically fit.
Mr Tlhasana said exercise contributed to one’s physical appearance and overall happiness.
He encouraged all to exercise saying that it could help curb non-communicable diseases.
Mr Tlhasana said exercise energised people and reduced impact of depression, anxiety disorder and stress.
Participants engaged in exercises and benefited from information disseminated by various stalls that were set up on the day to discuss issues of interest to the youth. ENDS
