Venson-Moitoi attends AU retreat

Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Dr Pelonomi Venson-Moitoi is in Kenya for the ministerial retreat of the African Union (AU) executive council that ends on May 7.
A press release from the ministry says the retreat is expected to hold in-depth discussions on the paradox of “Rich Africa, Poor Africa on Changing Mindsets and other relevant issues”.
The release adds that the meeting will deliberate on the implementation of Agenda 2063, including its monitoring and evaluation framework; African Union (AU) structural reforms to facilitate implementation of Agenda 2063; the United Nations Agenda 2030 on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as well as domestication, monitoring and evaluation framework and popularisation.
The minister is expected back home on Sunday. Ends
