Make hay while sun shines - Autlwetse
21 Apr 2016
The Assistant Minister of Agriculture, Mr Kgotla Autlwetse, has expressed displeasure at the casual attitude displayed by majority of Batswana who are beneficiaries of government programmes.
Addressing a kgotla meeting in Moshupa on Tuesday, Mr Autlwetse said on many instances, such projects died a natural death due to negligence.
He therefore called on beneficiaries to bask while hay shines, embrace government programmes and in the process improve their lives and those of fellow Batswana.
Commenting, residents concurred with Mr Autlwetse that Batswana were generally not earnestly taking advantage of an array of programmes geared towards improving their livelihoods.
They therefore called on government to review the programmes so that they could be cost effective. END
