ACP-EU parliamentary meeting April 20

Botswana will host the 12th regional meeting of Southern Africa of the African Caribbean and Pacific European Union (ACP-EU) Joint Parliamentary Assembly, in Gaborone from April 20 to 22 at the Gaborone International Conention Centre.
A press release from Parliament says the meeting is expected to bring together 10 countries from the Southern African region, 10 members representing the European Parliament and 28 members’ states of the European Union.
The release states that the meeting will mainly focus on matters concerning the implementation of the ACP-EU Cotonou Partnership Agreement as well as the economic, political and social developments in both ACP and EU member states.
It further states that the official opening of the meeting will be on April 20. ENDS
