Police in Takatokwane are investigating an accident that claimed the life of a 68 year old man and a 32 year old woman on the spot, leaving three others critically injured.

Speaking in an interview with BOPA, the station commander for Takatokwane Police Superintendent Ocean Maraganyane said the accident occurred along the Morwamosu-Letlhakeng road on Wednesday evening around 8am.

He said the car, which was heading to Kang carrying one woman and four men overturned about 10km just before Takakokwane .

Superintendent Maraganyane said the two passengers died at the scene while the rest were critically injured.

He said the deceased bodies are currently lying at the Scottish Livingstone Hospital awaiting post mortem while the others are currently hospitalised at the same hospital.

Superintendent Maraganyane said investigations are still on going to find out what might have caused the accident. BOPA
