Kgalagadi Land Board starts road show

The Kgalagadi Land Board is undertaking a land registration roadshow to register outstanding plots to meet the March 31 deadline.
According to a press release from the land board, the exercise is held to facilitate the public who have not been able to register their plots.
The exercise is scheduled to start on March 11. The benefits of land registration are that the plot will have secure title deed document that could be used as collateral.
It offers free surveying of plots, there shall be improved service delivery of land transactions (after computerszation), there will be reduced land conflicts as all plots will be surveyed and that all plots will be numbered to ease and quicken location based services by all service providers.
Registers are advised to bring their plot certificates/lease agreements/title deeds/ letter from bogosi confirming their rights and also a valid Omang/ID and that of spouse. Ends
