Total filling station awarded a Mercedes Benz worth P360 000 to Ms Tsholofelo Rasebotsa who won the Total Hot Hatch competition, on Saturday in Gaborone.

Ms Rasebotsa who was overwhelmed by joy emerged the winner after entering a Total Hot Hatch fuel competition in January this year, two weeks before the competition was about to close. She said she has known from the beginning that she will end up the winner as she was always hopeful and she made sure she will definitely enter the competition.

“I always knew I will win this Mercedes, I am very happy and thankful to Total filling company. I entered the competition after filling petrol with P250, P500 and last P600.   I did not tell anybody except my husband and my baby,” she said.

The sales and marketing manager of Total filling station Mr Kabo Semauusu, said the competition was open to everyone and the requirements were that every customer has to fill petrol for P250 five times and it was open for the period of four months, beginning October 2015 to January 2016.

He said the aim of the competition was to drive the fuel sales as well as to promote Total brand in Botswana.  He said it is also a way of giving back to the people and appreciating their customers.

The second and third prize winners were awarded vouchers to fill petrol for free to  four months. Ends
