Scud Missile Promotions director, Mr Thuso Khubamang says he appreciates the support that all stakeholders have given to the Hope for Prisoners.

Hope for Prisoners is a project by Khubamang which has partnered with Botswana Prisons Services (BPS) to rehabilitate inmates and ex-convicts.

Speaking at the awards ceremony for prison officers, ex-convicts and stakeholders in Gaborone recently, Mr Khubamang said since the project started he has worked with former BPS Commissioner, Mr Herman Kau as well as the present Commissioner, Mr Silas Motlalekgosi at various prisons around the country.

He said they have staged numerous tournaments and road shows at various prisons, including nurturing talent from inmates who participated.

He said although inmates may have been on the wrong side of the law, he appreciated their commitment and talent.

Mr Khubamang also appreciated support from the Office of the President, Ministry of Education and Skills Development, University of Botswana, Gaborone Institute of Professional Studies, Trekkers Night Club and other stakeholders. Ends
