Selection process for the 2016 form four placement has been completed, Ministry of Education and Skills Development has announced.

According to a press release from the ministry, 26 600 students have been admitted for form four. The release states that 41 438 students sat for the 2015 Junior Secondary Examination (JCE) and this represented a transition rate of 64.03 percentage.

It further states that 2016 form four students are expected to report to their respective schools on February 23.

It says students admitted as boarders will be expected to report on February 22. Students who have been admitted at the two new unified secondary schools of Mahupu and Tsabong will report to their respective schools on March 8 while boarding students will report on March 7.

The release states that information on student's placement will be in all secondary schools and regional education offices and on the government portal; www.gov.bw.

It says admissions can also be accessed through messaging service (sms) notification by short messaging to 16688. It explains that one should compose new message on a cell phone and type level (form 4) the centre number(e.g 001) candidate surname. There should be a space between the parameter values then send to 16688. Ends
