LAPCAS to survey 948 013 plots

Minister of Lands and Housing Mr Prince Maele said the LAPCAS Project targeted to survey an estimated 948 013 plots in tribal land. Answering a question in parliament on Tuesday, Mr Maele said the project has to date surveyed 306 582 plots across land boards. He noted that in Kweneng 60639 plots were surveyed while in Tlokweng the number of plots surveyed is 9961 whereas in Chobe a total of 12 200 plots was registered in Chobe District.
The Member of Parliament for Ghanzi North, Mr Noah Salakae wanted the minister to state the target number of plots that are supposed to be surveyed through LAPCAS and the number of plots surveyed so far. Ends
