29 Dec 2015

President Lt Gen. Seretse Khama Ian Khama spent time with Mosu residents in the Boteti East on Monday.

He distributed food hampers, blankets and sweets to the elderly people and children.

President Khama also donated solar lights to the Village Development Committee and 30 chairs to the kgotla.

He also donated 10 bibles and two football kits.

President Khama said it was a norm for him to visit Mosu every Christmas holidays.

He also informed residents of Mosu that the access road to their village had been included in the coming national development plan.

He was responding to Kgosi Thanyego Pemole’s concern that the road needed to be tarred as it hindered developments in his village.

Nonetheless, Kgosi Pemole thanked the government for developments in his village as well as the Ipelegeng programme, which he said had improved the livelihood of his people.

For his part, area MP, Mr Sethomo Lelatisitswe thanked President Khama for making it a norm to visit Mosu during Christmas holidays.

He said it is an honour and privilege for Mosu residents to receive gifts from the President every Christmas holidays. Ends
