Malikongwa retires

Permanent secretary in the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Culture, Mr Lewis Malikongwa, will retire from the public service on December 31.
A press release from the ministry states that Mr Malikongwa joined the ministry as permanent secretary in November 2014 and his contract was due to end in February 2016.
The release states that Mr Malikongwa will retire before expiry of the contract due to personal reasons.
In this regard, the ministry thanked Mr Malikongwa for his contribution, support and encouragement while serving the ministry and wished him success in future endeavours. Ends
