Lekoa High Commissioner to Australia

President Lt Gen. Seretse Khama Ian Khama has appointed Mr Lapologang Lekoa as Botswana's High Commissioner to Australia.
Ambassador Lekoa joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in 1977. During his tenure in the ministry, he held a wide range of senior positions. He has also served in various capacities including as Head of Mission in Botswana's diplomatic missions in Zambia and United States of America.
A press release from the foreign affairs ministry states that in 2011, he was appointed permanent secretary in the ministry.
The High Commissioner-designate is expected to take up his appointment in Australia on December 07, 2015. Ends
