Bankers Association opens fund account for Matsha students

The Bankers Association of Botswana (BAB) has opened a bank account into which pledges for Matsha College students will be received.
The association says in a press release that, as the nation mourns the loss of some students and shares prayers for the speedy recovery of those still receiving medical care, it appeals to members of the public to make their discretionary contributions into a dedicated fund account which has been opened with Stanbic Bank.
Details of the account are; Account Number 9060002054588 of Fairgrounds Branch and branch code of 064967.
The release states that member banks have made pledges amounting to P225 000 and more pledges are expected. The association says it trusts that the public will demonstrate goodwill by committing their pledges into this account. Ends
