Dow visits accident victims

The Minister of Education and Skills Development, Dr Unity Dow, this morning (November 14) visited Matsha College students admitted at Princess Marinah Hospital in Gaborone.
She told students and their parents that the road accident that occurred yesterday left the nation in mourning. Dr Dow said all should join hands to stand by families of the victims.
Some parents told the minister that they appreciated the assistance they got from government officials especially staff at the Takatokwane clinic.
Seven (7) students of Matsha College died in a tragic road accident yesterday (November 13).
Takatokwane police station commander, Superintendent Ocean Maraganyane said 75 students were admitted at Scottish Livingstone Hospital in Molepolole, 31 at Princess Marinah Hospital, six (6) at Gaborone Private Hospital, seven (7) at Bokamoso and five (5) were dischaged while the truck driver and assitant were not injured.
He said a truck that Matsha College students were travelling in overturned near Dutlwe in the Letlhakeng Sub-district at 2pm yesterday (November 13). end
