Youth pray for nation
03 Nov 2015
Youth from various churches gathered on Sunday for a prayer session for the nation.
Speaking at the prayer session, the national director of the prayer team, Ms Cynthia Rendoh said the youth who participated at the prayer would be officially released by the president of evangelical worship, Reverend Oboletswe Matlhaope to move around with the torch entourage and reach out to the youth countrywide.
Ms Rendoh said they would move around to declare blessings, restoration and freedom to the nation and encourage other youth to participate in the country’s activities.
She said they have also invited Mr Tshenolo Palai, who was one of the youths with a testimony on issues of drug and alcohol abuse, to be the leader and to share his experience with others.
In his remarks Mr Palai said he was ready to spread the message of God to the youth of this country.
He said it was a good thing to embark on the journey as he wishes the nation the best.
The national team prayer had prayed along with the roving torch entourage in 2004 and in 2006 during the celebration of the country’s 40 years of independence. Ends
