Molale hails NGOs private sector
27 Oct 2015
Presidential Affairs and Public Administration Minister Mr Eric Molale has appreciated the effort done by local Non Governmental Organisation and the private sector for assisting government in its developmental agenda.
This, he said was a path in the right direction towards poverty eradication and improving the country’s economy.
Mr Molale said the Good Hope - Mabule constituency is one of the four constituencies in the country that the Statistics Botswana has rated hardest hit by poverty.
This he said during the hand over ceremony where Lobatse Clay Works donated 52 000 bricks in Mabule.
The Lobatse Clay Works donated the bricks for the construction of a Red Cross Centre in the village.
For his part, Coordinator for people with disabilities from Office of the President, Mr Thomas Motingwa said the donation of bricks to the Mabule Red Cross Society came at the opportune time as People Living With Disability in the village will have a centre especially for rehabilitation.
The Mabule Red Cross Society chairperson Ms Grace Tiro could not hold her excitement and appreciated all stakeholders who ensured that the society's plot will eventually have a structure.
She encouraged the Mabule Community to work together in unity towards the realization of the operationalization of the centre. Ends
