A 44-year old man was certified dead upon arrival at Mahalapye Hospital recently after acar he was travelling in rolled over along the A1 road.

According to Mahalapye Police, Assitant Superintendent Kgosienalerona Sechoni the accident happened between 3 and 4pm at Dinokwe,  just after Mahalapye on way to Gaborone.

Assistant Supt Sechoni said the man was travelling with another 25-year old male in a Toyota Harries vehicle, who sustained minor injuries and was discharged the same day.

The driver, he said, lost control of the car and it veered off the road and rolled over. Investigations to find the cause of the accident are ongoing.

He advised drivers to drive with caution as there are many cattle roaming along the road, adding that they should also rest if they feel fatigued and avoid using alcohol and drugs when driving. Ends
